MANILA, Philippines – Hinamon ni Tingog Partylist Rep. Jude Acidre si Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco na tigilan na ang pagbibigay ng mga impormasyong taliwas aniya sa mga pangyayari at alegasyong walang ebidensya.
“Rep. Toby Tiangco should stop misleading the public. Serious allegations require serious proof. Not hearsay, not secondhand claims, and certainly not tsismis dressed up as fact.”
Binigyang diin ni Acidre na dapat pangalanan ni Tiangco at magpakita ito ng ebidensya ukol sa paratang nito na ang mga kongresista aniya ay lumagda lamang sa impeachment laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte kapalit ng AICS, AKAP, TUPAD, o infrastructure allocations.
“Name names. Present evidence. Submit it under oath. Anything less is pure speculation, and worse, disinformation that undermines the integrity of the House.
Let me be absolutely clear. I was present during the discussions and the signing of the first impeachment complaint. Rep. Tiangco was not,” dagdag pa ni Acidre.
Ayon kay Acidre, wala sa mga panahon ng balitaktakan sa Kamara si Tiangco at Hindi umano nito nasaksihan ang deliberasyon at nakalatag umanong mga ebidensya laban sa pangalawang pangulo.
“He was nowhere to be found during those critical moments. He did not witness the deliberations. He did not hear the testimonies. He did not review the evidence as it unfolded. So whoever told him that there were “considerations” in exchange for signatures either misled him, or he is now choosing to repeat a lie. Either way, that claim is false,” giit pa ni Acidre.
Itinanggit rin ng kongresista na meron nasuhulan, pinilit o pinangakuan ng anu an kapalit ng lagda sa impeachment laban kay VP Sara.
” No one was coerced. No one was bribed. No one was promised anything in exchange for signing. Members made their decision based on evidence: documents, testimonies, and financial records that raised serious and legitimate questions.”
Kinuwestyon din ni Acidre ang pahayag ni Tiangco na ang binitiwan niyang alegasyon ay pinatunayan ng Independent Commission fir Infrastructure (ICI).
” Now, on his claim that alleged wrongdoing has already been “proven” through the Independent Commission for Infrastructure, let us return to the actual document.
The ICI referral itself, signed by retired Supreme Court Justice Andres Reyes, explicitly states. This referral is issued without any finding or conclusion of guilt or liability on the part of Former Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez.”
Sinabi pa ni Acidre na hindi dapat binabaluktot ang katotohanan dahil ang rekomendasyon ng ICI ay, ” There is no finding of guilt. There is no conclusion of liability. There is no proof established by the ICI. What exists is a referral for further investigation; nothing more, nothing less. To twist that into something “proven” is not just inaccurate; it is deliberately misleading.”
Dahil dito, muling hinamon ni Acidre si Tiangco na patunayang hindi siya pabor o kumikiling kay VP Sara at patunayan nito ang kaniyang mga alegasyon.
“Baka siya ang takot sa sarili niyang multo. If Rep. Tiangco truly believes his claims, then the burden is on him: Name names. Produce documents. File a sworn complaint. Otherwise, he should stop peddling tsismis and disinformation” giit pa ni Acidre. (Meliza Maluntag)
