MANILA, Philippines – Nasa 13 committee ng House of Representatives ang dadalo sa joint hearing bukas, Abril 8, para talakayin ang medium at long term solution sa kinahaharap na krisis sa langis at ang patuloy na tensyon sa Middle East.
Ayon kay Houuse Speaker Faustino Dy ang House Committee on Ways and Means sa pamumunio ni Marikina Rep Miro Quimbo ang syang mangunguna sa gagawing pagdinig.
Sa abiso ng Kamara, ang pagdinig ay magsisimula ng alas 9:30 ng umaga at gagawin sa People’s Center sa Batasang Pambansa.
Ang mga Chairperson ng 13 na komite ang syang bubuo ng mega panel.
Kabilangs a mga komite ay ang committee on energy, (Palawan Rep. Jose Alvarez;
committee on agriculture and food (Quezon Rep. Mark Enverga);
committee on appropriations (Nueva Ecija Rep. Mikaela Suansing;)
committee on aquaculture and fisheries resources (Camarines Sur Rep. Tsuyoshi Anthony Horibata);committee on economic affairs (Antique Rep. Antonio Legarda Jr.);
committee on foreign affairs (Pangasinan Rep. Maria Rachel Arenas);committee on information and communications technology (Camarines Sur Rep. Miguel Luis Villafuerte);
committee on labor and employment (Cavite Rep. Ramon “Jolo” Revilla III);
committee on overseas workers affairs (Agimat Party-list Rep. Bryan Revilla;
committee on social services (Davao Oriental Rep. Cheeno Miguel Almario)
committee on trade and industry (Mountain Province Rep. Maximo Dalog Jr.) at
committee on transportation (Quezon City Rep. Franz Pumaren).
Sinabi ni Dy na ang sentro ng gagawing pulong ay ang paghanap ng solusyon para maibsan ang hirap ng mga Filipino sa nararansang global crisis.
“The hearing will focus on the country’s oil and energy supply situation amid tensions involving the United States, Israel and Iran, as well as the broader economic impact, government response, and proposed courses of action,” paliwanag ni Dy.
