MANILA, Philippines – Walang natanggap na arrest warrant galing sa International Criminal Court para kay Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa ang Philippine Center on Transnational Crime (PCTC), na nagsisilbing International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) National Central Bureau sa Manila.
Ito ang ibinahagi ni PCTC Executive Director Retired General Romeo Prestoza kasunod ng balitang naglabas ang ICC ng arrest warrant laban kay Dela Rosa.
Nauna na ring sinabi ni Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla na wala pang impormasyon kung nag-isyu ng arrest warrant ang ICC laban sa senador.
“None yet to my information. As far as I am concerned, until I see the official copy, it is hearsay,” ani Remulla.
Ganito rin ang sinabi ni Department of Justice (DOJ) spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez.
Para naman kay Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro, “I can neither confirm nor deny.”
Ani DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla, ang DILG ay kasalukuyang “preparing a 10k task force for the dragnet operations in case a warrant of arrest for Senator Bato is issued.”
Sinabi ng DILG na ang ahensya ay bumubuo ng task force at sinabing “the unverified info just arrived this morning.” RNT/JGC
