Manila, Philippines – Second Lieutenant ang ranggo ni Matteo Guidicelli sa Philippine Army bilang reservist.
Bilang host ng Bilyonaryo News Channel, ibinahagi ni Matteo ang mga larawang kuha sa kanyang pagdalaw sa Pag-asa Island.
Kasama ng TV news anchor-host si AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. at ilang magigiting na sundalo.
Kuwento ni Matteo: “We spent the day with our troops stationed here, sharing a boodle fight, listening to their stories, and thanking them for the service they give far from their families.
“We also had the chance to sit down with the locals who call this island home.
“These men and women hold the line for all of us. Grateful for the time and proud of everyone of them!”
A part ng Kalayaan Group of Islands off the West Philippine Sea, ang Pag-asa Island ay tahanan ng mahigit 400 na Pilipino at ilang kawani ng militar na naatasang magbantay sa teritoryo ng bansa.
Local showbiz is just as proud of Matteo who’s fulfilling his sworn duty.
