KAMANDAG 10-2026 exercises ng PH, US Marines umarangkada na

MANILA, Philippines – Pormal nang sinimulan ng Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) at United States Marine Corps (USMC) ang ika-10 edisyon ng Kaagapay ng mga Mandirigma Mula sa Dagat (KAMANDAG) Exercise upang higit pang mapalakas ang interoperability at kooperasyong pangdepensa ng Pilipinas, Estados Unidos at iba pang kaalyadong bansa.

Isinagawa ang opening ceremony noong Hunyo 15 sa Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown sa Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Kabilang sa mga kalahok ngayong taon ang Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) at Republic of Korea Marine Corps (ROKMC), habang dumalo bilang observers ang Australia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain at Thailand.

“Readiness is not merely an option; it is a responsibility. Cooperation is not a convenience; it is a necessity. And interoperability is not an aspiration; it is an operational imperative,” ani Brigadier General Bob Apostol PN(M), Exercise Director ng KAMANDAG 10-2026.

Isasagawa ang mga pagsasanay sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, Palawan, Tawi-Tawi, Manila at Cavite na nakatuon sa territorial defense at magkasanib na operasyong militar.

Kabilang sa mga aktibidad ang maritime key terrain security operations, maritime strike, counterlanding, airfield seizure at defense, island seizure at defense, seaborne maneuver, amphibious raid, boat raid and seizure, military free fall, at close air support.
