MANILA, Philippines – Dapat umanong sagutin ni Vice President Sara Z. Duterte ang lahat ng mga alegasyon sa kanya dahil ito ay pananagutan niya sa mga tao.
Ayon kay La Union 1st District Rep. Francisco Paolo Ortega V, dapat na magpakita sa impeachment trial si Duterte upang masabi nito ang kanyang panig.
“If the people is asking questions and looking for answers, it is better to come from the horse’s mouth. The answer must come from the person involved,” ani Ortega.
“Besides, integrity is important because if you are putting yourself to a higher standard, let’s pretend that I am running for president or vice president of the Philippines, you have an obligation to the people to answer,” dagdag pa ng mambabatas.
Kung hindi dadalo si Duterte sa pagdinig, sinabi ni Ortega na “it is up for her defense on how they will handle these things.”
Nagsimula ang pre-trial conference para sa impeachment trial noong Huwebes at magpapatuloy bukas, Hunyo 22.
