MANILA, Philippines – NANGAKO si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na magbibigay ng libre at high-quality care para sa mga bata at pamilya mula northern at central Luzon, sa pagkakatayo ng bagong pediatric hospital sa loob ng Clark Freeport sa Pampanga.
Sa isinagawang inagurasyon ng Department of Health-Jose B. Lingad Children’s Medical Center, inanunsyo ni Pangulong Marcos na bubuksan ng ospital ang mga pintuan nito sa mga pasyente simula Agosto 1, dahilan para mas maging accessible ang ‘specialized pediatric services.’
“This state-of-the-art pediatric facility will provide free, high-quality care for children and families from Regions I, II, and III, and other neighboring areas as well,” ang sinabi ng Pangulo sa kanyang naging talumpati.
Ang Jose B. Lingad Children’s Medical Center ay nagsisilbi bilang unang yugto ng Clark Multi-Specialty Medical Center.
Plano naman ng gobyerno na magtayo ng mas marami pang specialty facilities sa loob ng complex, gaya ng renal center, cardiovascular center, at cancer center
“Ladies and gentlemen, this hope that this hospital will bring…hope and relief for countless Filipino families here in Luzon. Parents seeking specialized treatment for their children will no longer have to make difficult trips to Metro Manila, sometimes even having to go abroad,” ayon sa Punong Ehekutibo.
“They will be spared the financial and emotional toll of a long journey, of lost income, and time away from home, all while caring for a sick child. Instead, they can focus on their child’s healing, recovery, and well-being,” aniya pa rin.
Tinuran pa ng Pangulo na ipatutupad ng bagong ospital ang Zero Balance Billing Program at mag-aalok ng Medical Assistance for Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients at Yaman ng Kalusugan Program.
“That way, no individual will be denied care simply because they do not have the capacity to pay,” diing pahayag nito.
Sinabi pa ng Pangulo na kabilang na sa gaagwing pagpapalawak sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) benefits, ang newborn care packages na sasaklaw sa screening tests, vaccinations, at paggagamot sa premature and low-birth-weight infants.
“One by one, we are building a better healthcare system that serves every Filipino with dignity,” angw inika ng Pangulo.
Nangako rin ang Pangulo na patuloy na tatrabahuhin ng gobyerno ang bawat batang pinoy ay mabigyan ng pagkakataon na lumaki ng malusog at malakas.
“It is certainly a comforting thought that somewhere in Luzon, a child who is sick today will visit this facility and will leave feeling better. And that child will grow up, and who knows, that child might prove to be the next leader that this country needs,” ang sinabi ng Pangulo. KRIS JOSE
