MANILA, Philippines — Nanguna sina Senators Robin Padilla, Raffy Tulfo, at Alan Peter Cayetano sa hypothetical voting preference survey ng OCTA Research para sa 2028 senatorial elections.
Batay sa Tugon ng Masa nationwide survey na isinagawa mula Hulyo 4 hanggang 11, nakakuha si Padilla ng 53.9%, sinundan ni Tulfo na may 47.4% at Cayetano na may 45.4%.
Sumunod si Grace Poe na may 44.5%, Vico Sotto na may 42%, Loren Legarda na may 39%, Manny Pacquiao na may 34.5%, at Paolo “Pulong” Duterte na may 34.3%.
Kabilang din sa o malapit sa preliminary top 12 sina Ben Tulfo na may 31%, Abby Binay na may 26.1%, Jinggoy Estrada na may 25.5%, Mark Lapid na may 25%, Francis “Chiz” Escudero na may 23.2%, Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III na may 21.2%, Mark Villar na may 19.5%, at Sonny Angara na may 19.2%.
Ayon sa OCTA, magkakalapit ang resulta nina Cayetano, Poe, at Sotto, habang statistically tied naman sina Pacquiao at Duterte sa ranggong ikaanim hanggang ikasiyam.
“Because many estimates are separated by only a few percentage points, the rankings should be interpreted using the reported rank ranges rather than as fixed placements. The results reflect preferences only at the time of the survey and should not be treated as predictions of candidacy, campaign performance, or the final election outcome,” pahayag ng OCTA.
Isinagawa ang noncommissioned survey sa pamamagitan ng face-to-face interviews sa 1,200 respondent na edad 18 pataas. Mayroon itong ±3% national margin of error sa 95% confidence level.
Binigyang-diin ng OCTA na hypothetical lamang ang survey dahil mahigit dalawang taon pa bago ang paghahain ng kandidatura at maaaring hindi tumakbo ang ilan sa mga pangalan sa listahan.
