MANILA, Philippines – Binuksan ng Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) nitong Martes, Setyembre 8 ang command center nito para sa makasaysayang Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Barmm) parliamentary elections sa Setyembre 14.
Sa seremonya, pinirmahan ng PPCRV at Ama Education System ang memorandum of agreement para sa partnership ng PPCRV-Ama command center sa Makati City.
Ang PPCRV ay ang citizen arm ng Commission on Elections.
“It is very important because it is very historic. This is the very first parliamentary election in Barmm,” sinabi ni Ana De Villa-Singson, spokesperson at trustee ng PPCRV.
Anang PPCRV, ang isa sa mga command center nito ay nakapwesto sa Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte, at nakakuha ang grupo ng nasa 3,000 volunteer sa BARMM hanggang nitong Setyembre 8.
Magbibigay daan ito sa paglalagay ng voters’ assistance desks sa nasa 1,100 polling centers.
“We have two command centers for the Barmm elections scheduled for September 12. One center is located in Datu Odin, Maguindanao, where the elections will take place on September 14. However, the unofficial parallel count will be consolidated here,” sinabi ni De Villa-Singson.
