MANILA, Philippines – Inilipat na si dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa Philippine General Hospital sa Maynila mula sa ospital sa San Juan City nitong Sabado, Setyembre 12.
Maagang dumating ang mga ambulansya at transport vehicles ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center bago mag-alas-7 ng umaga.
Nitong Biyernes ay ipinag-utos ng Sandiganbayan Third Division sa PGH na suriin si Romualdez at beripikahin ang findings ng mga doktor nito mula sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center, kung saan ito naka-confine mula Lunes.
Matapos ilipat si Romualdez sa PGH ay dito muna ito ico-confine hanggang sa ipag-utos ng korte ang paglilipat nito.
“Accordingly, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), with the assistance of the PNP and the Office of the Judiciary Marshals, is ordered to coordinate with and bring accused Romualdez to UP-PGH, using an ambulance with the required medical equipment, for the conduct of his medical examination on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 10:00 in the morning,” saad sa kautusan.
Inatasan din nito ang direktor ng PGH na mag-report sa resulta ni Romualdez sa Lunes, Setyembre 14. RNT/JGC
