“We started in PNP at we proposed in other agencies as well, pero sa PNP, they promoted non-lethal and self-defense based na jiu-jitsu… we have a different kind of approach na non-lethal but we start first with vertical jiu-jitsu na meron tayo pang-defense na hindi kailangan saktan ang tao at more ways to lock para hindi masaktan.”, sinabi ni Sandoval sa lingguhang ng Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports, Inc. (TOPS) Usapang Sports Forum.

“This is the first time [to join PUSO]. Because of them, nakapasok tayo at we have a demo sport on the 19th in the Ultra. We will try to introduce Tactical Jiu-Jitsu for law enforcement, as much as possible ayaw natin mahiga ang mga law enforcers, sa tactical, we also include weapons like knife or gun, its up for them kung makukuha niyo, at its more of a total control.”, wika niya sa Forum na suportado ng Philippine Sports Commission, Pocari Sweat at Behrouz Persian Cuisine.

“It is a official program, that’s why we are pushing into a law. And some agencies are open with the proposal. And one of the things na isinama sa Senate bill is to have a proper training center for them. Self defense basic ang jiu-jitsu.”, huling sambit niya.
