MANILA, Philippines- Nilinaw ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang kumakalat na public advisory sa social media kaugnay sa nalalapit na halalan.
Ayon kay Comelec spokesperson Atty. John Rex Laudiangco, ang umano’y “No National ID, No Vote” public advisory ay hindi totoo at hindi galing sa tanggapan ng komisyon.
“It was not posted on the official and verified social media channels of the COMELEC on any social media platform,” anang opisyal.
“Voters will only be asked to present a valid ID in case their identity cannot be verified through the Election Day Computerized Voters’ List (EDCVL),” sabi ng Comelec.
Panawagan ng Comelec sa publiko na tulungan silang pigilang kumalat pa ang maling impormasyon.
“Fake news po. This is another orchestrated disinformation po intending to discredit comelec and our electoral processes,” giit ni Laudiangco.
