MANILA, Philippines – Inanunsyo ng Korte Suprema na suspendido ang operasyon ng korte sa ilang lugar sa bansa ngayong Lunes, Agosto 10, 2026 dahil sa scheduled power interruptions at local celebration.
Suspendido ang mga sumusunod na operasyon ng korte sa:
Judicial Region 2
Lahat ng first- at second-level courts sa Kalinga — scheduled power interruption
MCTC ng Solana-Enrile, Cagayan — scheduled power interruption
Lahat ng first- at second-level courts sa Tuao; MTC ng Rizal; at MCTC ng Piat-Sto. Niño, Cagayan — scheduled power interruption
Judicial Region 3
Lahat ng first- at second-level courts sa San Jose, Nueva Ecija — founding anniversary
Judicial Region 4-A
Lahat ng first- at second-level courts sa Gumaca, Quezon — commemoration ng birth anniversary ni Lorenzo M. Tañada Sr.
Judicial Region 4-B
Lahat ng first- at second-level courts sa Aborlan, Palawan — scheduled power interruption
Lahat ng first- at second-level courts sa Narra, Palawan — scheduled power interruption
Judicial Region 5
MCTC ng Baras-Gigmoto, Catanduanes — town fiesta
MCTC ng Malinao-Tiwi, Albay — town fiesta at feast day ni St. Lawrence the Martyr

Lahat ng first- at second-level courts at Office of the Clerk of Court (OCC) sa Maasin, Southern Leyte — charter day anniversary
Ang filing ng time-bound pleadings at paglalabas ng time-bound resolutions at mga desisyon ay suspendido rin hanggang sa magbalik ang normal na operasyon.
Hindi naman sakop ng suspensyon ang mga usapin na nangangailangan ng agarang aksyon ng korte katulad ng aplikasyon para sa bail, release orders, writs of habeas corpus, at iba pang kaparehong urgent relief.
“The courts shall have sufficient staff members to act on urgent requests for bail, orders of release, writs of habeas corpus, and similar urgent reliefs,” sinabi ng SC. RNT/JGC
