MANILA, Philippines – Nanawagan ang Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) ng dayalogo at pagkakasundo sa gitna ng umiigting na alitan nina Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at Vice President Sara Duterte.

Ayon kay CBCP Episcopal Commission on Public Affairs Chairman Archbishop Ricardo Bacay, patuloy nilang isinusulong ang kapayapaan.

“The Church as a whole promotes the dialogue towards achieving our goals. Not to destroy each other, not to eliminate each other,” ani Bacay.

“There’s always a path of reconciliation. That’s our position as Church,” dagdag pa niya.

“In a world increasingly marked by conflict and the ‘globalization of indifference,’ the Holy Father has invited the entire Church to unite in prayer… to renew our commitment to dialogue, reconciliation, and nonviolence,” ayon kay Garcera.

RNT/MND
