MANILA, Philippines – Hinimok ni Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa nitong Sabado, Oktubre 19 ang mga bagong doktor na makipagtulungan at magserbisyo sa pamahalaan.
Sa kanyang congratulatory message, hinimok ni Herbosa ang mga nakapasa sa 2024 Physicians Licensure Examinations ‘to do public health.’
“Join us in government service at DOH. Let us do public health, health systems strengthening, health policy, and health financing. Or choose to be a DOH Doctor to the Barrios (DTTB),” ani Herbosa.
Binanggit din niya na ang mga DOH hospital ay mayroong residency programs at specializations, katulad ng Family and Community Medicine, sa pagsasabing ang mga doktor na ito ay makapagliligtas ng buhay sa BUCAS centers, mobile primary care clinics, at PuroKalusugan program.
“Help us build a health system Filipinos truly deserve! Serve the people! Let us build and provide safe, affordable, and accessible healthcare for our people, dahil sa Bagong Pilipinas, Bawat Buhay Mahalaga!” dagdag ni Herbosa.
Nasa kabuuang 3,845 sa 6,600 indibidwal ang nakapasa sa physician licensure examination ngayong Oktubre, ayon sa Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). RNT/JGC
