MANILA, Philippines – Magpapadala ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ng higit 15,000 personnel upang magbantay sa tatlong araw na Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) rally sa Metro Manila mula Nobyembre 16 hanggang 18.
Kasama sa mga lugar na imo-monitor ang EDSA Shrine, Quirino Grandstand, Malacañang Park, Senado, Kongreso, People Power Monument, Liwasang Bonifacio, at iba pang pangunahing lugar.
“We respect the rights of every Filipino to freely practice their religion. Our task is to ensure that this rally… remains safe for both participants and the surrounding community,” ani PNP acting chief Police Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.
Ayon naman kay PNP spokesperson Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuaño, tututok ang mga pulis sa crowd management, traffic coordination, at seguridad sa paligid ng mga venue.
