MANILA, Philippines – Naisumite na sa tanggapan ni House Speaker Faustino Dy ang impeachment complaint na inihain laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte, ayon kay House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil.
“I confirm that my office formally transmitted the third impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte to the office of Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III early Monday night, in accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of the House of Representatives,” nakasaad sa statement na ipinalabas ni Garafil.
Nilinaw ni Garafil na ang tungkulin Office of the Secretary General sa impeachment proceedings ay pawang “ministerial” at wala itong anumang partisipasyon sa pagtalakay sa impeachment.
“My office is tasked only with the receipt, verification, and transmission of impeachment complaints and their endorsements,” ani Garafil.
Sa ngayon ay 3 na ang verified at endorsed impeachment complaint laban kay Duterte.
