MANILA, Philippines- Bumilis ang inflation noong Nobyembre, ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority nitong Huwebes.
Pumalo ang headline inflation sa 2.5 porsyento noong nakaraang buwan, mas mabilis sa 2.3 porsyento noong Oktubre. Pasok din ito sa forecast range ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas na 2.2 hanggang 3 porsyento.
Dinala nito ang average inflation mula Enero hanggang Nobyembre sa 3.2 porsyento, pasok sa target range ng pamahalaan na 2 hanggang 4 porsyento.
“Core inflation, which excludes selected food and energy items, increased to 2.5 percent in November 2024 from 2.4 percent in October 2024. In November 2023, core inflation was faster at 4.7 percent,” pahayag ng PSA. RNT/SA
