MANILA, Philippines – SINABI ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa mga Australian business leaders na ang Maharlika Investment Fund ay dedikasyon ng kanyang administrasyon para makapangalap ng sapat na pondo para sa mga pangunahing programa.
Sa isinagawang Philippine business forum, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na ang overhaul ng “fiscal incentive structures at responsive policies” ng bansa ay may mahalagang papel sa pag po-promote ng partisipasyon ng pribadong sektor.
“Furthermore, there is the establishment of the Maharlika Investment Fund, our sovereign wealth fund that underscores our dedication to financing priority projects and driving socioeconomic impact,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.
“The key principle that we have adopted, the very fundamental principle that we have adopted, was to consider the private sector as partners in the development of our— on the transformation and development of our economy,” dagdag na wika nito.
Aniya, prayoridad ng pamahalaan ang pagaanin ang pagnenegosyo dahil naglalayon ito na gawing simple ang pagbabayad ng buwis, gawing simple ang regulasyon at ipakita ang patuloy na suporta para sa negosyo ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas.
Nauna rito, sinabi ni Trade and Industry Secretary Alfredo Pascual na may kabuuang $1.53 billion investment ang sinelyuhan sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Australia sa sidelines ng ASEAN-Australia Special Summit.
Ani Pascual, ang kasunduan ay nagpapakita ng patuloy na commitment ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa kagalingan at mabungang partnerships “spanning diverse sectors such as renewable energy, waste-to-energy technology, organic recycling technology, countryside housing initiatives, establishment of data centers, manufacturing of health technology solutions, and digital health services.” Kris Jose
