MANILA, Philippines- Sinabi ng Manila Electric Company (Meralco) nitong Linggo na naibalik na ang power service sa karamihan sa customers na apektado ni Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.
Base sa Meralco, hanggang alas-7 ng umaga nitong Linggo, bumaba na ang bilang ng mga customer na apektado ng service interruptions sa halos 6,000. Mayorya ng natitirang storm-hit areas ay nasa Cavite at Laguna.
“We thank our customers for their patience and understanding. Our crews and personnel will not stop until power service has been restored to the remaining affected customers, as we target full restoration within the day,” pahayag ni Meralco Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications Joe R. Zaldarriaga.
Noong Huwebes, sinabi ng Meralco na “around 535,000 customers are affected by service interruptions.”
“We continue to closely monitor the weather situation and we assure our customers that our crews and personnel are ready to respond 24/7,” aniya. RNT/SA
