MANILA, Philippines – Idineklara ng Supreme Court ang half-day work o maagang pagpapauwi sa sa lahat ng hukuman sa bansa sa Oktubre 31.
Nakasaad sa memorandum circular ng Office of the Court Administrator (OCA) na iniutos ni Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo na ipatutupad ang half-day work sa Oktubre 31 upang makabiyahe sa kani-kanilang probinsya o lugar ang mga tauhan ng korte para sa pagunita ng Araw ng Patay.
“Upon the instructions of Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo, to allow Judges and court personnel nationwide to appropriately observe traditional All Saint’s Day and All Souls Day activities, allow them to travel to and from different regions in the country to reverently pay their respects to their dearly departed and those of others, and, in a way, significantly or indirectly contribute to domestic tourism.”
Pagkakataon ito para sa mga court employees na angkop na gunitain ang araw ng Undas.
Gayunman, mahigpit ang tagubilin ng OCA na dapat madaling kontakin ang mga korte ng mga abogado, court users at litigants sa kanilang hotline numbers o email addresses hanggang ika-5 ng hapon ng October 31.
Inatasan din ng OCA ang mga hukuman na maglagay ng mga kaukulang abiso sa kanilang mga tanggapan ukol sa half-day na pasok. Teresa Tavares
