MANILA, Philippines- Sinuspinde ng Korte Suprema ang trabaho ng mga kawani nito sa Huwebes, January 9, dahil sa Kapistahan ng Poong Nazareno.
Sa Memorandum Order ni Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, suspendido ang pasok sa Supreme Court bunsod ng inaasahang matinding trapiko at pagsasara ng ilang kalsada sa Maynila.
“In view of the expected heavy traffic in the vicinity because of the several road closures in the City of Manila brought about by the celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene, work in the Supreme Court, Manila, is suspended on 9 January 2023, Monday, except essential staff of offices who may be required to report for work in Manila to assist those who are in Baguio for the sessions,” nakasaad sa memorandum.
Una nang idineklara ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang January 9 bilang sprcial non-workong day para sa selebrasyon ng Poong Nazareno.
Tinatayang limang milyong deboto ang makikilahok sa Walk of Faith procession mula Quirino Grandstand hanggang Quiapo Church bukas, January 8. Teresa Tavares
