Hindi pinalampas ni Antipolo Rep Romeo Acop ang ginawang pagtawag ni Sen Bato dela Rosa sa mga mambabatas bilang “unprincipled” at “opportunistic”.
Bwelta ni Acop si dela Rosa ang siyang tunay na ” opportunist”.
Hindi nagustuhan ni dela Rosa ang pambabatikos ng mga mambabatas sa war on drugs na ipinatupas sa ilalim ng Duterte administration gayong dati umano ay suportado ito ng mga mambabatas.
Sinabi ni Acop, malinaw na si dela Rosa ay isang “loyal lapdog”.
“If anyone is the real opportunist, it’s Sen. dela Rosa, who shamelessly used his ties with the former President to rise from PNP chief to senator, leading a bloody drug war that targeted the powerless while shielding the powerful,”ani Acop.
“Don’t act like a K9 of the previous administration. Prioritize the country’s interests and the general welfare of the people,” giit pa nito.
Ani Acop natamo ni dela Rosa ang kanyang kinaroroonan dahil sa pagkapit sa nakaraang administrayon habang nakalimutan nito ang kanyang tungkulin sa bayan.
Ipinangtanggol ni Acop ang ginagawang imbestigasyon ng Quad Committee hinggil aa EJKs, war on drugs at POGO, aniya, hindi nagawang isiwalat ni dela Rosa ang mga tunay na panggayari nang pangunahan nito ang Senate hearing kaya naman ito ngayon ang ginagawa ng Kamara.
“Sen. dela Rosa’s so-called investigations were a farce. Despite his position, he conveniently ignored the involvement of individuals close to the former President. Who was he protecting?” ani Acop
“Sen. Dela Rosa’s loyalty lies not with the truth, but with protecting his own interests and those of his political benefactors,” dagdag pa nito.
Hinamon ni Acop si dela Rosa na pangalanan ang mga mambabatas na inaakusahan nitong “unprincipled” at “opportunistic.”
“We are simply doing our duty. There’s no need to fear the quad-committee unless there’s something to hide. It’s becoming too obvious that Sen. Dela Rosa is scared,” pagtatapos pa ni Acop. Gail Mendoza
