MANILA, Philippines – Hindi gumagana ang ilan sa mga transmission lines partikular na sa Visayas dahil sa malalakas na hangin at ulan dala ng Severe Tropical Storm Opong.
Sa situation update ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) nitong Biyernes ng umaga, Setyembre 26, “unavailable” ang mga sumusunod na transmission lines:
Calbayog-Allen 69kV Line

Paranas-Quinapondan 69kV LINE

Date/Time Out: September 26, 2025 / 2:31 a.m.
Customer Affected: SAMELCO I
Amlan-Siaton 69kV Line
Date/Time Out: September 26, 2025 / 6:35 a.m.
Customer Affected: NORECO II
“Inspection and restoration of lines in the affected areas will be in full swing once the weather allows,” ayon sa NGCP.
“Please note that loss of power may be caused by affected transmission facilities of NGCP or distribution facilities of local distribution utilities or electric cooperatives,” dagdag pa ng grid operator.
Sinabi pa na ang ilang mga lungsod at munisipalidad na apektado ng power interruptions ay natukoy na ng kani-kanilang distribution utilities, “unless the outage affects the entire franchise area.” RNT/JGC
