MANILA, Philippines – Lumakas ang Severe Tropical Storm Tino (international name: Kalmaegi) at naging Typhoon nitong Lunes ng umaga, sabi ng PAGASA.

Umabot si Tino sa kategorya ng Typhoon alas-8 ng umaga, sabi ng weather bureau.

Alas-8 ng umaga, ang sentro ng Tino ay tinatayang nasa 340 km silangan timog-silangan ng Guiuan, Eastern Samar, na nasa loob ng Philippine Area of ​​Responsibility.
