FRANCE – Kasalukuyang tumutuloy sa 10-bedroom house sa Champs-Elysees Avenue sa Paris si Zaldy Co, ayon kay Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla nitong Biyernes, Mayo 8.
“He has a house in Champs-Élysées, 10 bedrooms na malapit sa Christian Dior. Ganito kalaki ‘yung taas ng mga ceiling noon, 10 bedrooms. Probably worth five, probably worth maybe 200 million dollars, euros,” ani Remulla sa isang forum.
“Doon siya ngayon,” dagdag pa niya.
Kumpiyansa naman si Remulla na maaaresto si Co sa oras na magdesisyon ang France sa asylum application nito.
Nag-apply ang Pilipinas para sa Interpol red notice ni Co noon pang Setyembre 2025.
“I am confident we’ll get the red notice and I’m confident we’re going to get Zaldy Co back here to the Philippines…This is the only hope we have,” sinabi ni Remulla.
“”I am confident na bago matapos yung asylum application niya, makukuha na natin si Zaldy. Six month application process kasi yan. Sometimes, tumatagal,” dagdag pa niya.
Matatandaan na inisyu ang arrest warrant laban kay Co at 17 iba pa kabilang ang mga opisyal ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at direktor ng Sunwest Corp. sa maanomalyang flood control projects RNT/JGC
