MANILA, Philippines – Pinalaya ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) nitong Biyernes, Mayo 10 ang mahigit 100 nakatatandang persons deprived of liberty (PDL) mula sa National Bilibid Prison (NBP) at iba pang piitan at penal farms.
Ayon sa ulat, excited ang 125 PDLs na makalaya matapos makumpleto ang kani-kanilang sentensya.
Personal na sinalubong ni BuCor Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. ang paglaya ng mga PDL.
“We want you to be back to society. We want you to be a fruitiful part of the society. Productive at di po kayo minaliit ng ating lipunan. We want you to be prepared for your second chance in life,” ani Catapang. RNT/JGC
