2 nasawing aviators binigyang-pugay ng PH Navy

MANILA, Philippines- Binigyang-pugay ng Philippine Navy (PN) ang dalawang aviators na nasawi nitong Huwebes matapos bumulusok ng kanilang Robinson R-22 trainer helicopter sa Cavite City.

Inihayag ni PN spokesperson Commander John Percie Alcos na binigyan ang mga labi nina Lt. Jan Kyle Q. Borres at Ensign Izzah Leonah Taccad, kapwa miyembro ng PN’s Naval Air Wing, ng arrival honors sa Libingan ng mga Bayani, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City nitong Biyernes.

“We pray for comfort and strength to surround the families and loved ones of Lt. Borres and Ensign Taccad during this time of profound grief and loss. Thank you for your service to the nation,” dagdag ng opisyal.

Pinarangalan din ng Naval Air Wing ang kanilang serbisyo.

“As we close your flight plan, may your spirits rest in peace and look upon us, guiding us from the skies as we carry on with our missions. As we continue soaring the skies, we will always remember you in the blue vastness of the heavens,” patuloy nito.

Batay sa inisyal na ulat, tinangka ng aircraft mula Sangley Airport na mag-emergency landing subalit bumagsak ito malapit sa Cavite City Public Market bandang alas-6 ng umaga.

Kasalukuyang gumugulong ang imbestigasyon hinggil sa mitsa ng insidente. RNT/SA
