WASHINGTON D.C.- Magbibigay ang Japan at ang United States ng “million of dollars” upang itatag ang Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) technology sa Manila, ayon sa White House nitong Miyerkules.
Binibigyang-daan ng nasabing teknolohiya ang interoperation sa pagitan ng cellular network equipment mula sa iba’t ibang vendors.
“The US and Japan, both governments and industry, will be providing millions of dollars in funding for ORAN field trials and the support of an Asia ORAN Academy in Manila to enable future commercial deployment,” pahayag ng White House sa isang teleconference.
“We’re working closely with the government of the Philippines to ensure that we can partner as a trilateral grouping to deploy secure, trusted ICT technology in the Philippines,” dagdag ng opisyal.
