MANILA, Philippines – Hahagupit ang isang “napakatindi” na bagyo na babayo sa ilalim ng Signal No. 4 habang ang Bagyong Nika ay nasa Cordillera Administrative Region, sinabi ng PAGASA ngayong Lunes ng hapon.
Ayon sa 5 p.m. PAGASA tropical cyclone bulletin, si Nika ay may pinakamataas na lakas ng hangin na 120 km/h malapit sa gitna at pagbugsong aabot sa 200 kph.
Ang mga lugar sa ilalim ng Signal No. 4 ay inaasahang makakaranas ng hanging mas malaki sa 118 kph hanggang 184 kph sa loob ng hindi bababa sa 12 oras, na maaaring magdulot ng napakabigat na pinsala sa mga high-risk na istruktura:
