MANILA, Philippines – Narekober ng search and rescue teams ang anim na bangkay mula sa Philippine Air Force (PAF) Super Huey helicopter na bumagsak sa Loreto, Agusan del Sur noong Martes habang nagsasagawa ng humanitarian operations para sa mga biktima ng Bagyong Tino.
“The search and rescue operations have led to the recovery of six bodies believed to be those of the pilot and crew members of the ill-fated Super Huey helicopter,” ayon sa Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) ng Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Hindi muna isinasapubliko ang pagkakakilanlan ng mga nasawi hangga’t hindi naipaaalam sa kanilang pamilya.
Sini-secure ng 60th Infantry Battalion ng Philippine Army ang lugar ng insidente, habang nagpapatuloy ang imbestigasyon sa pagbagsak ng eroplano.
Ayon sa PAF, nawalan muna sila ng komunikasyon sa helicopter bago agad magsagawa ng search and rescue operation. Dave Baluyot
