MANILA, Philippines- Inihayag ng Department of Education (DepEd) na ire-renew nito ang kontrata at magha-hire ng 7,062 administrative support staff sa public schools sa buong bansa na nilalayong ibsan ang trabaho ng mga guro.
Kakalusin ng inisyatiba ang non-teaching tasks mula sa educators upang matutukan nila ang pangunahin nilang responsibilidad na pagtuturo, ayon sa DepEd.
Alinsunod din ito sa Department Order No. 002, S. 2024, na ipinag-uutos ang “immediate removal” ng administrative tasks mula sa public school teachers.
“Our teachers belong in the classroom, not behind paperwork. By ensuring that every school has the necessary support staff, we are taking a concrete step toward making the learning environment more focused, effective, and responsive to the needs of our students,” pahayag ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara.
Magmumula ang pondo para sa mga karagdagang tauhan sa Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE), base sa DepEd.
Ang mga aplikante at dapat senior high school graduate at mayroong basic administrative skills, kabilang ang kaalaman sa paggamit ng Microsoft Office.
Hindi nire-require ng ahensya ang work experience o training.
Samantala, para sa renewal process, ang incumbent Contract of Service personnel “must have met performance expectations based on their Terms of Reference and evaluation by their respective Schools Division Offices (SDO),” base sa DepEd.
“New hires will undergo a selection process, including a review of credentials and interviews conducted by school heads and SDOs,” dagdag nito. RNT/SA
