CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City- Inihayag ni Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Alan M. Nazarro nitong Biyernes ng hapon ang pagkakaaresto sa isang New People’s Army regional adviser na tinukoy na No. 1 most wanted person ng Caraga region sa Parañaque City noong Lunes.
Dumating ang suspek na kinilalang si Umbid, 72, sa rehiyon noong Huwebes.
Si Umbid ay mayroong warrants of arrest para sa four counts of murder, three counts of attempted murder, two counts of frustrated murder, two counts of rebellion, robbery, at grave coercion, ani Nazarro.
Kabilang ang suspek sa sa NPA rebels na nang-harass umano sa Lianga Municipal Police Station noong Abril 28, 2011.
Pinuri ni Nazarro ang Lianga police, 9th Special Force Company, Regional Intelligence Division-13, Surigao del Sur Provincial Intelligence Unit, at ang Parañaque police sa pagkakadakip sa suspek.
