MANILA, Philippines- Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. kay Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara, sa public at private school teachers, at iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno sa buong bansa na magtulungan na gawing mahusay ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa Pilipinas.
“As we lay down the groundwork for a more resilient sector, I enjoin DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, along with our government agencies, to continue improving the quality of education, uphold the rights of our teachers, and adapt to the ever-evolving needs of our [academic] landscape,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos.
Inihayag ito ni Pangulong Marcos sa isinagawang 2024 National Teachers’ Day Celebration sa Smart Araneta Coliseum, araw ng Huwebes.
Ang Pangulo ay sinamahan ni Unang Ginang Louise Araneta-Marcos, na pinuri sa kanyang dedikasyon bilang isang guro.
“To our teachers, keep shaping our students who will not only face the uncertainties of today, but will also embrace the opportunities of tomorrow. Our future rests in your hands. This Administration trusts that you will help us build the Bagong Pilipinas that we all aspire to achieve,” dagdag na wika ng Pangulo.
Samantala, nakiisa naman sina Pangulong Marcos at Unang Ginang Lisa sa libo-libong guro sa iba’t ibang dako ng bansa sa pagdiriwang ng kanilang mahalagang papel sa pag-transform sa edukasyon at pagbibigay suporta na kailangan para ganap na palawakin ang kanilang talento at bokasyon. Kris Jose
