MANILA, Philippines – Istranded pa rin sa Batanes ang nasa 103 turista dahil sa pananalasa ng bagyong Kristine.
“The stranded individuals are all in Basco and are eventually expected to fly out of the island as soon as airline seats are able to accommodate all of them,” saad sa pahayag ng Department of Tourism nitong Lunes, Oktubre 28.
“All other stranded tourists from previously reported areas all over the country were able to travel onwards to their respective destinations.”
Bukod sa Batanes, nauna nang sinabi ng DOT na may mahigit 500 turista ang istranded din sa ibang bahagi ng bansa katulad ng Surigao del Norte, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Maasin sa Leyte, Mauban sa Quezon, at Lobo, Batangas.
