Secretariat para tumulong sa House prosecutors binuo ng Kamara

MANILA, Philippines- Nasa 134 indibidwal ang bubuo sa Impeachment Secretariat na magbibigay ng support service sa House prosecutors sa nakatakdang pagsisimula ng impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Sa memorandum order na ipinalabas ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco, sinabi nito na ang 134 personnel ay magbibigay ng kanilang serbisyo sa “rotation basis.”

Ang 134 personnel ay mula sa:

• Office of the Secretary General (OSG)

• OSG Support Staff

• Office of the Sergeant-At-Arms

• Information and Communications Technology Service

• Legislative Operations Department

• Legal Affairs Department

• Engineering and Physical Facilities Department

• Administrative Department

• Inter Parliamentary and Public Affairs Department at

• Committee Affairs Department.

“The House Secretariat plays a vital role in ensuring the orderly conduct of legislative proceedings, including impeachment trials. This directive ensures that the prosecution team has access to essential logistical, research, and documentation support to facilitate a smooth and efficient trial process. This will include plenary support, legal research, records management, stenographic transcription, information technology, security, and administrative coordination,” paliwanag ni Velasco.

Ang mga personnel na magtatrabaho sa labas ng kanilang working hours ay bibigyan ng overtime pay.
