MANILA, Philippines – Tatlo ang nasawi sa umano’y shootout malapit sa bahay ng isang barangay councilor sa Tabuk City, Kalinga, iniulat ng Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) nitong Huwebes, Abril 24.
Sa pulis report, nadiskubre ng Tabuk City Police Station ang nakahandusay na katawan ng tatlong lalaki sa isang kalsada, bandang alas-7 ng umaga kasunod ng tip mula sa isang concerned citizen.
Narekober rin sa lugar ang dalawang M16 rifle at isang shotgun.
“Initial investigation disclosed that the victims had a firefight with the unidentified suspects near the house of Barangay Kagawad Cleve Dumaguing from Biga Tribe,” saad sa police report.
“The firefight continued until the victims moved towards north direction where they were shot,” dagdag pa.
Itinurn-over na sa provincial forensic unit ang kaso para sa karagdagang pagproseso sa crime scene. RNT/JGC
