LAS PIÑAS, Philippines – Kaugnay sa patuloy na kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ay nadakip ng mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ng Las Piñas City police ang high value individual (HVI) na nakumpiskahan ng ₱387,600 halaga ng shabu Sabado ng gabi, Hulyo 5.
Kinilala ni Las Piñas City police chief P/Col. Sandro Jay DC Tafalla ang inarestong suspek na isang alyas Tol, 20, walang trabaho at residente ng Bacoor City, Cavite.
Base sa report ni Tafalla na isinumite kay Southern Police District (SPD) director P/Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, naganap ang pagdakip sa suspek bandang alas 6:00 ng gabi isa kahabaan ng Earth Street, Moonwalk Village, Brgy. Talon Singko, Las Piñas City.
Makaraang mapatunayan na sangkot sa pagbebenta ng shabu si alyas Tol sa pamamagitan ng surveillance operation ay agad na nagkasa ng buy-bust operation ang mga tauhan ng SDEU na nagresulta ng pagkakadakip sa suspek.
Nakumpiska sa posesyon ng suspek ang tatlong heat-sealed plastic sachets na naglalaman ng 57 gramo ng shabu, isang itim na coin purse, at ang ₱300 buy-bust money na ginamit sa operasyon.
Kasalukuyang nakapiit sa custodial facility ng Las Piñas City police ang suspek na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11, Article II ng RA 9165.
