MANILA, Philippines – Nagtalaga ang Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) ng walong abogado para tumulong sa Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) sa panahon ng transition period nito.
Ayon sa ICI, ang mga abogado ay magsisilbi sa komisyon ng apat na araw sa isang linggo at mag-uulat sa PAO tuwing Lunes.
Magsisimula ito sa Oktubre 14, Martes, at tatagal ng anim na buwan.
“The PAO lawyers will be assisting with the legal requirements of the ICI pursuant to its mandate,” saad sa mensahe ni commission spokesperson Brian Hosaka.
“This is also in connection with the memorandum of the office of the executive secretary to all executive offices and agencies to extend full assistance and cooperation to the ICI,” dagdag pa niya.
Ayon sa ICI, sinabi ng PAO na ang transparent at responsive infrastructure framework ay “integral to nation-building and the pursuit of social justice.”
Nagpasalamat naman si ICI chairman Justice Andres Reyes sa PAO sa kanilang kooperasyon. RNT/JGC
