MANILA, Philippines – Ila-livestream na ang mga pagdinig ng Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) kaugnay sa maanomalyang flood control projects simula sa susunod na linggo.
Ito ang inanunsyo ni ICI chairman Andres Reyes Jr. nitong Miyerkules, Oktubre 22 sa organizational meeting ng Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights para pag-usapan ang Senate Bill No. 1215, na naglalayong likhain ang Independent People’s Commission (IPC) para imbestigahan ang lahat ng anomalya sa lahat ng infrastructure projects ng pamahalaan.
“We will try our best to be able to full blast investigation of all these fraud. We don’t have the facility, we don’t have the rules of procedure, but we will already shorten the procedure in spite of no rules allowing us, we will now go on livestream next week once we get to be able to have the technical capability with us already,” ani Reyes.
Malugod naman itong tinanggap ni Senador Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, chairman ng Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights.
Noong nakaraang buwan, sinabi ni ICI executive director Brian Keith Hosaka na ang mga pagdinig ng komisyon ay hindi pwedeng i-livestream upang maiwasan ang ‘trial by publicity’ at anumang political influence. RNT/JGC
