Ani BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval sa Viber, “We confirm that former Secretary Manny Bonoan departed this afternoon for the United States via Taiwan.”
Sakop si Bonoan ng Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) na inisyu ng Department of Justice (DOJ).
“Upon encounter, immigration officers immediately coordinated with the DOJ to verify if a hold departure order or warrant of arrest was in effect. The DOJ confirmed that none exists, hence he was cleared to depart,” paliwanag pa ni Sandoval.
Nagbitiw si Bonoan bilang DPWH chief noong Agosto kasunod ng alegasyon ng anomalya sa mga flood control projects ng departamento. RNT
