MANILA, Philippines – Inalis na ng Cebu provincial government ang suspensyon ng klase sa lahat ng antas, kasunod ng rekomendasyon ng Department of Education (DepEd) at Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
Sa pamamagitan ng Executive Order 72, Series of 2025, ipinag-utos ni Governor Pamela Baricuatro ang opisyal na pagbabalik ng klase sa lahat ng pampublikong paaralan sa probinsya sa Cebu.
“Gov. Baricuatro explained that the move was based on the advisory of DepEd Cebu Province and the assessment of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, together with PAGASA and local disaster councils,” saad sa post.
Iginiit ng DepEd ang kahalagahan ng agarang pagbabalik ng klase “to prevent further disruption of the academic calendar and ensure the continuity of learning, especially after several days of suspension.”
“Gov. Baricuatro further reminded local chief executives that class suspensions may still be declared at their discretion, depending on localized on-ground conditions, in coordination with their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs),” dagdag pa. RNT/JGC
