MANILA, Philippines – Magpapatuloy na ang trabaho sa mga korte sa Metro Manila ngayong Martes matapos wakasan ng Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) ang kanilang anti-corruption protest nang mas maaga, ayon sa Korte Suprema.
“With the announcement from Iglesia ni Cristo cancelling its protest action tomorrow… work resumes at the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals, and trial courts in NCR,” ayon sa pahayag ng SC.
Tinapos ng INC ang kanilang pagtitipon nitong Lunes ng gabi, isang araw bago ang orihinal na iskedyul. Ayon kay INC spokesperson Edwil Zabala, malinaw na ang kanilang ipinadalang mensahe.
“It did not need three days to achieve the goal of sending the message that we are calling for justice, accountability, transparency, and peace,” aniya.
Tinatayang nasa 550,000 ang crowd sa Luneta hanggang 8 p.m., batay sa Manila DRRMO. RNT
