“Science does not progress in isolation. It advances through networks of regulators, scientists, investors, and community stakeholders. The Philippines is committed to building such networks, locally and across all borders,” ayon sa Pangulo.

“The world is undergoing a technological shift as consequential as the industrial revolution. The leaders of this century must not only adopt new technologies, they must ensure that these technologies are aligned with human well-being, with ethical standards, with environmental integrity, and with sustainable growth,” ang sinabi pa rin ni Pangulong Marcos.

Saklaw ng agenda ngayong taon ang tatlong pangunahing mga lugar: “Circular Economy and Innovation, using radiation technologies to turn plastic waste into durable, valuable materials; Environmental Protection and Ocean Science, improving microplastic detection to support better coastal and marine policies; and Partnerships for Sustainable Development, uniting governments, industries, and innovators in a collaborative network.”

Kris Jose
