MANILA, Philippines – SINABI ni Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary at Palace Press Officer Claire Castro na wala pang pag-uusap kaugnay sa paglusaw ng Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI).
Ang pahayag na ito ni Castro ay matapos na sabihin na Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla sa naunang panayam sa kanya na ang super body ay mayroon lamang natitirang isa hanggang dalawang buwan bago pa nito tapusin ang imbestigasyon kaugnay sa maanomalyang infrastructure projects.
“Right now, I can’t answer that, and we haven’t discussed it yet,” ang sinabi ni Castro, tinutukoy ang pahayag ni Remulla.
“But since the Ombudsman is also there and they are very active regarding the issue of anomalous flood control projects, it could be like that. But as of now, we don’t have any details or any updates regarding that,” ang pahayag ni Castro.
Sa isang panayam, sinabi ni Remulla na itu-turn over ng ICI ang referrals nito sa Office of the Ombudsman sa oras na matapos na ang imbestigasyon nito.
“I think some of them, it’s only two months away and they can turn over their jobs to us,” ang winika ni Remulla.
“‘That’s the direction, because the ICI is not forever, and there is a law that created the Office of the Ombudsman, which we are now very active in,” aniya pa rin. KRIS JOSE
