MANILA, Philippines – Inihayag ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na mas magiging propesyonal at matatag sa 2026 habang patuloy na nagseserbisyo sa mga Pilipino.
“In the year ahead, let us renew our commitment to the ideals that guide our service: unity within our ranks and with our partners across the nation, professionalism in every action we take, resilience in the face of adversity, and an unwavering focus on serving the Filipino people,” sabi ni AFP chief Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. sa kanyang mensahe sa Bagong Taon noong Huwebes.
Sinabi ni Brawner na ang misyon ng AFP ay mas malaki kaysa sa sinuman at sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan at dedikasyon sa kahusayan, ipagpapatuloy nitong protektahan ang seguridad, kapayapaan, at kaunlaran ng bansa.
Hinikayat niya ang lahat ng kawani militar na balikan ang mga hamon, tagumpay, at aral ng nakaraang taon.
Inamin ni Brawner na sinubok ng nakaraang taon ang katatagan ng AFP, ngunit pinatunayan ng dedikasyon, tapang, at propesyonalismo ang pagiging tapat na tagapagtanggol ng bansa ng mga sundalo.
“Our service is not measured solely by operational successes, but by the discipline, integrity, and commitment that define each of us in our daily duties,” dagdag niya.
Nagpasalamat rin siya sa lahat ng sundalo, marinero, piloto, marine, reservist, at civilian personnel sa kanilang sakripisyo at walang pagod na serbisyo.
“Let us move forward with courage and unity as we wholeheartedly protect the nation and serve the Filipino people with honor and excellence,” diin ni Brawner. RNT/MND
