MANILA, Philippines – Humiling si dating Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Mao Aplasca sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na ipagpaliban ang kanyang pagharap sa ahensya kaugnay sa imbestigasyon nito sa naganap na shootout incident noong Mayo 13, ilang oras bago nakatakas si Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa sa bisinidad ng Senado.
Nakatakda sanang humarap si Aplasca sa NBI ngayong Huwebes, Hunyo 11, bilang tugon sa subpoena na inisyu laban sa kanya.
“We requested NBI for deferment in view of the impending Senate inquiry on the May 11 to 14 incidents,” sinabi ni Aplasca.
“The same request for deferment was also sent to CIDG [Criminal Investigation and Detection Group] last week,” dagdag pa niya. RNT/JGC
