MANILA, Philippines – Nagbigay-pugay si Vice President Sara Duterte sa mga frontliner, ama, disaster responders, at security personnel ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) sa kanyang Father’s Day message noong Hunyo 21.
Pinasalamatan niya ang mga frontliner na patuloy na naglilingkod sa mga komunidad kahit kapalit nito ang oras na dapat sana’y kasama ang kanilang mga pamilya.
“Before this day ends, I want to take a moment to honor people whose sacrifices often go unrecognized and unseen,” ani Duterte.
Nagbigay rin siya ng espesyal na pagkilala sa mga amang nagtatrabaho sa OVP, lalo na ang mga kasali sa disaster response operations.
“To all the fathers in the Office of the Vice President, who take no rest and who work tirelessly in disaster response, often without acknowledgment, your efforts form the backbone of everything we are able to achieve,” aniya.
Ayon kay Duterte, ang mga batikos at pag-atake sa kanya sa ngalan umano ng “public interest” at “accountability” ay kadalasang natatabunan ang sakripisyo at pagsisikap ng mga empleyado ng OVP.
“Even in the face of political attacks against my person, in the guise of ‘public interest’ or ‘accountability,’ that overshadow your hard work and sleepless nights, you continue to show up and persevere with professionalism,” saad niya.
Pinasalamatan din niya ang mga security at support teams na tumutulong upang mapanatili ang kaligtasan at kaayusan.
Binigyang-diin ng Bise Presidente na ang pagiging ama ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pamilya kundi pati na rin sa sakripisyo at dedikasyon sa paglilingkod sa sambayanang Pilipino. Nagtapos siya sa pagbati at pasasalamat sa mga “nameless and faceless frontliners, OVP personnel, and security teams” na patuloy na naglilingkod sa bansa. RNT/MND
