MANILA, Philippines – Binawi na ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) ang rekomendasyon nito kaugnay ng posibleng minor sea-level disturbances matapos ang magnitude 6.3 na lindol sa karagatan malapit sa Balut Island sa Sarangani, Davao Occidental.
Inilabas ang abiso dakong alas-12:10 ng madaling araw nitong Hulyo 15 para sa Sarangani, Davao Occidental at General Santos City matapos ang malakas na lindol nitong Martes ng gabi, Hulyo 14.
“Based on data from our sea-level monitoring stations, no unusual sea-level changes were observed during the three-hour extended observation period, and no reports of unusual sea-level changes were received,” ayon sa PHIVOLCS.
“Therefore, DOST-PHIVOLCS has now cancelled the recommendations issued for this event,” dagdag ng ahensya. Santi Celario
