MANILA, Philippines – Pinabibilis ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., sa mga ahensiya ng gobyerno ang konstruksyon at sa Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA) sa Cavite.
Sa katunayan, sa ilalim ng Administrative Order (AO) No 44, ipinag-utos ng Chief Executive ang close coordination sa national government, Provincial Government ng Cavite at pribadong sektor at tiyaking matatapos sa takdang oras ang nasabing proyekto.
“there is a need to enhance coordination of various government agencies, local government units (LGUs) in the province of Cavite, and private sector partners, and streamline regulatory and administrative processes, in order to ensure the timely completion of the SPIA,” ang nakasaad sa AO.
At upang mabilis na matapos ang airport, ipinag-utos ng Pangulo na magbuo ng Joint Technical Working Group (JTWG) katuwang ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA).
Magiging katuwang din nito ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of National Defense (DND), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Justice (DOJ), Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), PCG.
Layon ng JTWG na tugunan ang mga isyu na magpapabagal sa proyekto at tiyakin na ang reclamation activity ay kumpleto sa environmental at technical requirements.
Samantala, magsusumite rin ito ng quarterly progress reports sa Pangulo sa pamamagitan ng Office of the Executive Secretary. (KRIS JOSE)
